My favourite places to shop in London...

Posted: Jun 04 2014

Portebello Road. My ultimate favourite place in London. If it's not the cute, pastel coloured  terraces I pass walking through, then it's the market stools of one-of-a-kind finds, and gorgeous shops that spread through the street.  The best time to go is at about 10am on a Saturday morning, giving you a chance to have a proper wander before the crowds flood in.  If you're a book lover, you need to visit  Neil’s Books - here you'll find absolute classics.

Spitalfields Market It's not just a market. The market is surrounded by the shops/pop-up shops of unique designers, giving you the best of both worlds - a bargain market buy, or something a little different and more expensive. Spitalfields is also a short walk from Bricklane, where there is another awesome market and more unique shops.  I recently came across a unique shop sitting between Spitalfields and Brick Lane - London Undercover. Their token product, umbrellas, are seriously worth the price tag.

Carnaby Street Two minutes away from Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus, featuring tonns of brands, boutiques, independent resturants and bars.  Like coffee? Check out the Speakeasy Espresso & Brew Bar while you're there.

Boxpark There today, gone tomorrow. Check out some cool new brands testing the market in converted shipping containers. It's seriously worth the trip.
